كابوتن يحتوى على المادة الفعالة كابتوبريل Captopril وهى تنتمى الى العائلة مثبطات الإنزيم المحول للأنجيوتنسين 
Angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitors ACEIs
والكليكسان يحتوى على المادة الفعالة Enoxaparin

An extensive review of the literature found that heparin (both unfractionated and lowmolecular- weight heparins) and heparinoids inhibit the secretion of aldosterone, which can cause hyperkalaemia. This may be additive with the hyperkalaemic effects of ACE inhibitors.
